Love Fruit? FruitShare Haiku Contest

Valentine’s Day is coming up, and love is in the air. We want to hear about your love of fruit in our Love FruitShare Haiku Contest! Here’s how it works:

  1. Write your haiku about your favorite winter FruitShare fruit. A haiku is a short poem with a specific structure: 5 syllables in the first line, 7 syllables in the second line, and 5 syllables in the third line.
  2. Submit your haiku as a comment on this post by February 12th at 11:59 pm CST.
  3. Come back on February 14, and find out which is the winning poem!
  4. The winner will receive a gift box of FruitShare’s farm fresh fruit, delivered right to their door!

For some inspiration to get you started, here’s an example of a simple haiku:

I love winter fruit
Bright, sweet and juicy citrus
Sunshine in a box
